ChaChing will charge you based on the default target ROAS you enter into ChaChing (e.g. if you enter your a default target ROAS of 5 and get a conversion via ChaChing for a product worth £100, ChaChing will charge you £20. Note: You can adjust your default target ROAS, or set custom target ROAS's or specific fixed CPOs for certain products too.
- Shopify Merchants
As a Shopify customer, you will be charged via Shopify. It is important to note that because the billing cycle of apps such as ChaChing may not necessarily be the same is that of Shopify’s own 30-day billing cycle, you may see usage charges for a single ChaChing billing cycle period across two Shopify subscription bills.
Note on the Shopify App Spending Limit: Remember that as a Shopify customer, you currently have an app spending limit on ChaChing, the default being $1,000 per month. You can edit this after downloading the ChaChing app on your Shopify and setting up your account by clicking on the “Manage Billing” option in the ChaChing app dashboard on Shopify, and then clicking “View App Spending Limit”. Increasing your app spending limit is important as if you reach the threshold, your campaigns on ChaChing will automatically stop. However, once this happens you are still able to go into your account and raise the threshold so that they start again.
Remember: ChaChing only charges you for conversions at the target ROAS's which you set, so having a high app spending limit does not put you at risk, while a lower one may risk causing your products being taken off of the platform.
- Other Merchants
You will be charged to the payment method you set up on the ChaChing ad platform. This is located in the “Payment Methods” section of the “Payments” tab. A small micro-charge or hold may be sent to your card to verify its validity. ChaChing will charge the payment method on file each time products totalling up to $100 or £100 of CPO (cost per order) or more have been purchased. To look at your charges, go to the “Payment History” section. Each time you are charged, the status of payment, amount, payment method used, receipt, and bill date are available there for you to see.
If there are any issues with payments, campaigns will be stopped, and you will be informed via the payments tab as to what the specific payment issue is. You’ll be given the option of retrying payment or adding a new payment method. Hovering your mouse over the red circle next to your payment method will inform you of what the specific issue is.
